Controlling
the News March 22 - December 31, 2003
(January 2,
2004) We are having a problem with, for want of a better phrase,
can be called the “Jewish Issue.” There is growing, and
serious, criticism of the so-called NeoCons that surround Bush.
All of them are openly Jewish and all are 100% in support of
Israel. This is not a well-kept secret and knowledge of it is
causing a strong swell of anti-Semitism all over the country. For
obvious reasons, this is a completely prohibited area of inquiry,
no matter how legitimate, and we are obviously going to have to
ignore the flood of death threats, nasty emails and so on. A
growing segment of the general population believes that Jews own
all the media. It would be counterproductive in the highest degree
to state that Jews do not own all the media. It is true that they
exercise a profound influence in this arena but their
actual influence is with the advertising medium.
The problem
here, as we see it, is that if the lid is kept on this subject, it
will eventually blow up, providing some kind of public diversion
can’t be found to distract the public. In truth, the NeoCons are
their own worst enemies. Unfortunately, they are being seen as
America’s worst enemies at the same time and, let’s be honest
here, they won’t shut up, thus guaranteeing their own
self-fulfilling prophesies. In all truth, Bush has really opened a
terrible Pandora’s Box of mischief…
(January
9, 2004) …Send a memo to all department heads looking for any
and all French-speaking journalists. This does not apply to
cameramen. If the Administration’s plans for a military
adventure vis a vis the French materialize, we want to be right
off the line with coverage…minute our people in Iraq that they
must, under no circumstances, permit anyone other than our own
employees to make use of our computer systems in place there. We
have been virtually ordered under threat of prosecution under
“national security” directives to keep irate military
personnel from “leaking sensitive and always inaccurate”
material. Make sure everyone gets this…
(January
10) …with reference my memo of the 9th, do not
discuss the French business unless and until. The Bush people want
an administration change in Paris and we have to be careful not to
mention any military assistance from our side. Diplomatic
and economic pressure will be tried first. The French will cave in
just like Brazil will stop its fingerprinting of US citizens.
Either that or the World Bank and IMF will put them on the grill.
Bush is visiting their president and will give him the word that
we will not permit some third world state to dictate to
us…they have even been photographing diplomats and CIA
commercial cover people!
(January 4, 2004) The Iowa circus goes on
its merry way with lots of backbiting, kicking, gouging and
spitting. We can count Lieberman out because he is an Orthodox Jew
and aside from some of his tribe, he is not going to get main line
votes. Braun is black and a women which are two strikes against
her, Gebhart will be lucky to take Iowa and dragging his Lesbian
daughter out of the closet isn’t going to do him any good in
Dubuque. Kerry is making noises but his slaughter of unarmed women
and children in Viet Nam plus the fact that he is Jewish won’t
help him either. Ditto for Clark on the racial issue plus he
changes his mind depending on how the wind is blowing. That leaves
Dean and he is downright mean, especially to the press which he
will be punished for in due time. Dick Cheney has a very bad
heart. Recently had a check up and they will not release the
results. Insider info gives him a 50-50 chance of buying the farm
(not in Iowa) before the election. It’s common knowledge that
Cheney is running the government. We have been requested not,
repeat not, to ask the President unexpected questions at press
conferences. He got nailed in Mexico by a fellow from Reuters who
asked him a question that Bush simply had no idea how to answer.
His mumblings and twitchings on camera were painful to watch…
(January 14, 2004) There are two major and
very serious problems looming on the horizon for us. The first is
the coming vote in November and the strong probability that there
will be a reprise of the Florida mess. Our sources, Beltway rumor
and other indicators, are very clear that vote stealing via badly
flawed “electronic voting” is in train now. This has the
fingerprints of Rove all over it but there is always plausible
deniability, as in the Wilson “leak” case. The NYT has been
pounding on this and it is also a favorite theme of anti-Bush
internet sites. If the White House rams this national
“Electronic Voting” program through, it could lead to another
stolen election and that could lead to revolt inside both the
Congress and the public…We have also learned that it is being
“suggested” that all GI absentee votes be “directed”
towards a Bush election. Considering the anger of the troops at
this point, these absentee ballots are anticipated to be strongly
anti-Bush. “Electronic Voting” is being thought of as a
“fast and convenient” method of allowing “our stalwart
heroes” a “quick method of reelecting their Commander in
Chief.” Read Thomas Carlyle on the origins of the French
Revolution or even study our own…We have been firmly requested
to conduct interviews of returning troops. The theme will be
satisfaction on job well done. As the temper of the returning
troops is highly uncertain, it has been suggested that we use
actors in uniform. This has happened before…the Pentagon was
writing dozens of praiseful letters allegedly from troops in Iraq
to “their” local papers. The problem is that all of them were
written by the same Pentagon PR official and sounded like it. 2004
might be an interesting year…Now the second major problem is
illegal immigration which has reached epic proportions. It is
officially estimated that there are 12 million illegal immigrants,
mostly Mexican, now in America. Many are on welfare and many are
taking jobs away from the lower level Americans, especially
teenagers. No politician, and certainly no one from any level of
the media, is going to tackle this one. I personally predict this
will be the fuse that will ignite the public powder keg, if not
this year, probably the next. Everyone from the President on down
is keeping their mouths shut on this demographic disaster…
(January 23, 2004) It looks like the O’Neill book has legs
after all. Threats to prosecute because of the use of confidential
or secret documents have died away. Coming up now is Bush’s
dismal military record. If Kerry gets the Democratic nomination,
the combat issue will certainly
come up. The true story about Bush’s alleged AWOL from
the Texas Air National Guard is fairly simple. He flunked his drug
tests and no way they wanted him to fly expensive aircraft into
downtown Houston. He refused to take any drug tests and just
walked off the job. With Dad’s connections, that got him into
the Guard and safely away from ‘Nam, it was not likely he would
get gigged for his vanishing act so he was safe…but now copies
of medical reports stating our Prez had “serious drug and
alcohol” problems have surfaced. Most were destroyed on Rove’s
orders after Bush was a serious contender but some were stashed.
Of course we can’t air these or we would lose our license but
this is no secret in certain circles. Bush does not want to extend
the mandate of the 9/11 commission but he may have to. They are
all afraid of what most of us know is clear knowledge of the
attack and the deliberate failure to do anything about it. Their
arrogance is unbelievable….
(February
12, 2004) Much ado about the actual casualty figures from Iraq.
Pentagon says only two to three thousand injured but the actual
figure is now over 10,000! Also, growing rumors that the dead are
way underreported. This theory is supported by a Presidential
order prohibiting any photographs to be taken at Dover AFB where
the remains of dead GIs are flown in. An Air Force person called
one of our reporters with the news that there have been a lot more
body bags being unloaded than the press reports and that security
at Dover is “very, very high” and that the personnel there are
constantly warned against talking about the subject under dire
threats of prosecution for violation of “national security.”
…
(February
13) Bush is now blaming the CIA for giving him false and
misleading intelligence but if he is not careful, the DCI will
“leak” papers showing clearly that the Bush people were well
aware that the false reports were just that; fakes. They asked for
them and they got them. I guess they figured on a quick and
successful war after which Bush could have his parades to salute
and would have lots of bites of really nice patriotic scenes for
the election…
(March
12, 2004) We are being officially urged to portray the terrorist
bombings in Madrid as the product of Basque separatists. The
Spanish government has beseeched the DoS and the White House not
to portray the perps as Arabs because of the upcoming elections.
The White House does not want to lose Spanish support, not because
of the meager 1,500 troops Spain has shipped to Iraq but because
if the present regime in Spain falls, a withdrawal by a new
government is almost certain and Bush would get a terrible black
eye…not that he hasn’t been getting plenty lately. Carey is
wreaking havoc on the stomachs of RNC and White House staffers.
First, these folks believed they had so much money they could
dictate the course of the television ad campaigns. They had
hundreds of millions raised from friends of the administration and
felt too secure in their power…. We sell ads to whomever pays
the freight, don’t forget that. We have been pressured to deny
ads to the Democrats but that would be economic suicide. If Bush
loses and we cast out lot with his people, the other side would
have their revenge on all of us. The middle of the fence is always
the safest…unless a Bush victory was a certainty…which it is
certainly not.
(March 24,
2004) Clarke has kicked over the hornet’s nest and the
administration has dragged out its hit teams to trash Clarke. It
is pathetic to watch White House staffers making identical
statements to the media, word for word.
Clarke has produced a book that will cause very serious
trouble to the Bushites and they will spare no effort to trash it
and its author. Look for some ‘stunning new revelation’ to
emerge very soon (two or three weeks or until it can be
fabricated) that will distract the public, and the media, from
this dangerous topic. The ongoing censorship by the Pentagon of
the death lists in Iraq is being dished by foreign media. It may
not be in the New York Times but it is in the Guardian and we
learn that more and more Americans are turning to foreign media
news sites for whatever passes for the truth these days. …Oil
prices are skyrocketing due to Arab interdiction of oil production
and look for this economic boycotting of the US to spread. A
terrible specter for the Bush people would be $5 per gallon prices
to emerge before the November elections. Now that the CIA has lost
its bid to topple Chavez, they are turning their completely
unqualified attentions to Brunei to guarantee the Sultan sticks to
the party line. The Company is highly pissed off at the Japs for
their oil deals with Iran. When the Bush White House issues an
order, it is to be obeyed!
(April
1, 2004) It seems that we have reached the watershed. This relates
to the relationship between us (our organization in specific) and
the Administration (that is the White House). Serious
questions about the stolen election (obvious fraud) but a general
agreement to try to live with the situation. 9-11 and a strong,
unqualified support of the President. He made a strong case for
being a serious leader and we all followed him. No contrast
between Bush and Guililani at all although it was a farce if you
think about it. Then the Iraq business. Some questions: Is this
really necessary? Is Daddy behind this? No, we did not question
our Protector and so we went to war but voices were warning us. We
did not listen and gave him all the coverage he wanted. Another
brief and successful Gulf War. All Power to the Wartime President!
Then the doubts. Stories about “substance abuse” and worse
stories about who knew what and when about 9-11. Emergence of the
fact that there were no WMDs and finally, that Bush lied about
everything all the time and was really a very stupid person. At
least a thousand dead (but not admitted) and over ten thousand
badly wounded (but never talked about.) Questions about his
fanatical religious beliefs; questions about the Israel-supporting
neo cons. Questions about the real control exercised by Cheney
(who makes a good appearance but is as crazy as a loon) and on and
on. A war we cannot ever win; mounting
casualties; increasing resistance at home; ugly revelations of
moronic and ideological incompetence at the highest level. The
gross and very dangerous incompetency of the President now
becoming more and more revealed. The frenzy on the part of Rove
and other nuts to stay in office. Obvious attempts to establish a
theocracy (“faith based ideals”) in America and to establish a
religious police state backed by a rabble of raving nuts from the
Religious Right. Bush has so fucked up the economy that even if
some intelligent person with complete control tried to straighten
it out this very moment, it would take years. Stories that Bush is
loading us up with so much internal debt that all the welfare
programs like Social Security, SSI and others will have to be
scrapped for lack of money. The Bush Administration wants, no,
demands, that we support them. We cannot. He will fall and we must
not fall with him. He wants to replace the Constitution with the
Ten Commandments! In the end, we will be rid of him and all of his
people but the damage they have done will take years to repair.
Bush wants to put Christ in the White House and he will only turn
the public against his Pentecostal friends who now control the
Republican Party. The
economy is totally fucked and the only thing the media can do is
to report on it. The average American is so goddam stupid that
many of them believe even the crudest of official lies so we
wonder if anyone out there is actually reading, and watching, any
kind of objective news. It’s not God Bless America these days
but God Save America!
Note:
The following material is from a reporter with access to the White
House and Presidential press briefings. Some of this material has
surfaced before but only in small segments. If any of this is true
and not the product of an unhappy person, we are all in serious
trouble. Ed.
"In the current White House, attendance at daily
Christian Evangelical prayer meetings is mandatory."
"Vice President Cheney is the de facto President of the
United States. When he arrives at the White House for one of his
"briefings" of the President, all employees are cleared
from the West Wing and especially from the Presidential office
suites. Cheney arrives in an escorted armored limousine surrounded
by his own personal, heavily armed bodyguard and is always shown
directly into the President's office. It is reliably reported by
[redacted] that Bush has a thick pad of lined, yellow note paper
on his desk, placed there by [redacted] just before the Vice
President arrives."
"After Cheney's departure, the notes taken by the
President are transcribed by [redacted] and prepared as talking
points for the President..."
"At
some time in the past, according to both [redacted] and [redacted]
the President suffered what one of his aides called "a very
minor seizure" and as a result of this, the President has a
very difficult time following any unscripted conversations. For
this reason, his staff carefully and aggressively protect the
President from "unexpected" questions that he is not
capable of answering."
"The President takes oral medication at least twice a
day according to [redacted] because of an unspecified
"indisposition' and this subject is strictly off limits for
any casual staff conversation."
"At one point during a staff conference, the President
stood up and began to speak in an unknown language. Mr. Rove was
able to stop the President and get him to resume his seat. It was
reported by [redacted] that for a period of time (about fifteen
minutes) after this incident, the President appeared to be
'somewhat confused and very inarticulate.'"
"White House staff members report that they rarely see
the President during work hours and that when they do, he is
generally accompanied by Mr. Rove and almost never either looks at
or speaks to members of the staff. He does not appear to recognize
many of the staff members and almost all contact with these
individuals are carried out by his close aides, especially by Mr.
Rove."
“Bush hold as few meetings with the public, including the
press, as possible. We get reams of official papers informing us
of this or that new directive. Those of us who have an inside
track with the staff are taken to dinner and given the questions
to ask Bush. These are questions he has been thoroughly briefed on
and has memorized the answers for. Anyone who persists in pushing
the envelope gets a rocket from the Rove people and does not get
invited back.”
“Most of the staff are young, dedicated, almost fanatical,
and very, very Christian. The Ten Commandments are in each and
every office with nice pictures of Jesus accompanying them. I have
chatted up a few of these bright-faced kids and find out that they
Love Jesus, Hate Gays, Abortionists, Moslems, Blacks, Catholics,
some Jews, all Democrats, Liberals, Hindus, Chinese, Frenchmen,
Germans, and now, Spaniards.”
“There are daily parades
of born-agains into the White House, all chanting the praises of
the Lord and Bush, in that order of course. Most of them want all
abortionists hung along with gays (the Beltway and the Pentagon
would be empty) and godless Muslims and Buddhists. Orwell would
have loved this place! Yesterday [redacted] told me in strict
confidence of course, that if Diebold didn’t reelect George, the
Lord would. They all wear miniature US flags on their clothes but
under the lapels they have “hidden tokens of the True Faith”
and they flip their lapels with knowing smiles when they meet
another True Believer.”
